A message from Harley McClung
CEO

Lowell B. McClung, President

Lowell B. McClung is President of Metalcraft Mining Equipment Rebuilders, Inc. Mr. McClung is a graduate of Richwood High School and holds a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from West Virginia University. He joined the Metalcraft team in 1995. Over the 25 years he has been with Metalcraft, Mr. McClung has worked on remanufacturing all types of underground mining equipment. As president, he fills many roles as well as handling the company's engineering and international sales. Prior to joining Metalcraft, Mr. McClung worked as an electrical engineer in the equipment maintenance program at Peabody Coal. He and his wife have three children and one dog. Mr. McClung is devoted to church work and enjoys golf as well as spending time outdoors and with family.

Harley D. McClung, CEO

Harley D. McClung is the owner and CEO of Metalcraft Mining Equipment Rebuilders, Inc. Mr. McClung is a graduate of Richwood High School and attended Glenville State College and WV Technical College. Prior to becoming involved with Metalcraft, he worked for Strick Trailer in Pennsylvania and as a laborer for Sutton Electric constructing the Metalcraft Fenwick facility. Mr. McClung began as a welder at the new facility and worked his way up to manager of Metalcraft. In 1984, he purchased the Metalcraft facility with two partners. Mr. McClung bought out his former partners and successfully oversaw the complete operation of the company for over 35 years. As his son, Lowell, is now overseeing the day to day operations of Metalcraft, Harley is enjoying the fruit of his many years of labor. He is very active in the Church of God (Universal). Mr. McClung is also a keen sportsman who enjoys pursuing grouse with his five English setters. He is married with two grown children and four grandchildren.  

Vincent E. Belletto, Sales Manager

Vincent E. “Vince” Belletto’s career in the mining industry started in 1975 with Sewell Coal Co. (Pittston). He began work as a mine clerk at 1A mine near Craigsville, W.V. While working as a mine clerk, he trained to be a certified underground miner and was also in the mine maintenance training program. Between work and school, he received his Underground/Surface Certifications for Electrician, Dust and Noise testing, Certified Instructor, EMT and Mine Forman. Mr. Belletto's primary work has been in the underground mining maintenance field, but he also has experience in managing high wall miners. For almost 30 years, Mr. Belletto has been employed at Metalcraft Mining Equipment Rebuilders where he has worked on remanufacturing all types of underground mining equipment. During his tenure with Metalcraft, he has held many positions including Assistant Shop Manager, Shop Manager, Safety Manager, General Manager and Sales Manager.

Rebecca L. Salisbury, Vice President - Finance

Miss Rebecca L. Salisbury holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Business Administration from Glenville State College with both Marketing and Accounting majors. Miss Salisbury is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of West Virginia. She joined the Metalcraft team in an administrative capacity in early 1991 and quickly worked her way up to Controller and then Vice President of Finance. As a member of the management team, she fills many roles as well as handling Metalcraft's finances and marketing. Prior to coming to Metalcraft, Miss Salisbury worked for the U.S. Postal Service and for Richwood Wholesale Company. She is active in and enjoys Christian service and spending time with friends and family. Miss Salisbury also serves on the Board of Directors of Nicholas County Fine Arts.  

April D. Deitz, Assistant Controller

Mrs. April D. Deitz, formally Ms. April D. Rose, is the Assistant Controller of Metalcraft Mining Equipment Rebuilders, Inc. She has worked at Metalcraft for over twenty years, filling many different positions including administrative work, Human Resources, purchasing and accounting. Mrs. Deitz began working for Metalcraft the spring after she graduated from Glenville State College with her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration majoring in Accounting and minoring in Economics. While attending college, Mrs. Deitz worked at Pizza Hut as a waitress, Service Manager and Shift Supervisor. She is a WV Public Notary, CPR\First Responder and a Richwood High School Alumni. She is married with three children and three dogs and enjoys spending time on her family’s farm.

Lonnie J. Groves, Purchasing Agent

West Virginia native, Lonnie “Joe” Groves, Purchasing Agent to Metalcraft Mining Equipment Rebuilders, Inc. previously worked for Metalcraft from June 2010 through February 2015 when the coal market took a downturn. Prior to coming to Metalcraft for the first time, Mr. Groves spent 30 years in the retail\grocery business working his way up from the bottom. His hobbies include hiking, hunting and fishing. Mr. Groves has been back with Metalcraft since the upturn in the coal market in 2017. He has been a valuable part of the production process ever since.

Ronald Lee, Jr, Plant Manager

Ronald Lee, Jr was recently appointed plant manager of Metalcraft Mining Equipment Rebuilders, Inc. Mr. Lee attended WV Tech and graduated from WVCC in Charleston, WV with an associate’s degree in business with an interest in accounting. He also studied electrical technology for two years. In 1989, Mr. Lee began working in the mining industry. While working in coal maintenance management, he completed the North Western management course through Bucyrus Erie. Mr. Lee began with underground mining equipment maintenance, then moved on to mine foreman, surface maintenance superintendent, North Eastern MARC Manager and special project manager. During this time, he obtained many certifications including certified crane operator, fork truck instructor, MSHA instructor, Mine foreman, EMT-M, 1st responder and surface miner. Mr. Lee is married to his lovely wife Melissa and they have four children. He enjoys working for God at Solid Rock Worship Center as an Usher, spending time with his family and fishing.
