MSHA CERTIFIED ELECTRICIAN

Candidates must have 5 years’ experience in underground maintenance or mining equipment related field.

Must:
• MSHA Certified
• Be highly skilled in basic electrical wiring
• Excel at reading and applying information from documents such as electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, PLC circuits, parts and service manuals, policies and procedures
• Be comfortable working on low, medium & high voltages
• Be willing and able to follow MSHA & State electrical guidelines
• Possess a working knowledge of conduit installation, wire routing and termination
• Be skilled at inspecting electrical components, such as transformers, sub-panels, and circuit breakers
• Be skilled at repairing or replacing wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools
• Be skilled at troubleshooting electrical problems
• Possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Willing to go underground on-site when necessary

Knowledge of 2G requirements a plus
